For the last 19 years the SEC Alumni in New York City have kicked off the season together on the Wednesday before the first game of season. This year’s party will be August 31st from 5:30-9pm at Ainsworth Park (11 East 18th Street btw Park & Irving). Ainsworth Park is one of the best sports bars in the cities and with its completely open front and outdoor seating will be a great place to kick off the start of the SEC season.
They’ll have beer and bourbon specials, half off wine by the glass, the SEC Network on dozens of HD flat screens, and great music to get everyone ready for the season ahead. Last year’s party had over 500 guests over the course of the evening. Make sure you’re there to meet other SEC Alumni in the city and be ready for the start of the most wonderful time of the year.
Mark your calendar for this year’s general meeting, where we confirm MizzouNYC officers and begin planning events and initiatives for NYC Tigers — it only happens once a year! Wednesday, July 27 at 7 PM, Percy’s Tavern.

We’d like to thank our amazing Tiger fans here in NYC for a fantastic season. Great energy, great spirit and great fans all around.
